| Labour in a walk. Glasgow's university seat, and remnant of Hillhead seat made famous by Roy Jenkins' win for the SDP in 1982, it gave Labour MSP a +15% lead over the SNP in 1999. For 2001, stormy petrel George Galloway MP will top the poll yet again; his pro-Arab stand may be even more popular in the groves of academe given recent Mideast headlines. |
