| Hackney has interesting local politics (Labour and the Tories run the Council together in a coalition against the LibDems) but at national level this multicultural inner city seat is a standard issue Labour stronghold. Left-wing rebel Diane Abbott will be safe here as long as she can take a moment to stop putting the boot into her own government, and can remember that she is actually a Labour MP and the Labour candidate. |
